I apologise for not writing sooner to you.   I just wanted to pass on my thanks for the excellent standard of Service and advice we received from your company and in particular the young lady (I'm sorry but I can't spell her Vietnamese name) on our recent trip to Vietnam on 12th May - 23rd May, 2007.

I was amazed that you actually had a staff member bring us our tickets to our hotel on her day off.   Her invaluable advice and help was I think the main reason our holiday went exceptionally well. We did have a slight problem at the Hoi An Beach resort but in no way do I blame you.

I found your company and staff members a pleasure to deal with and the service you provide excellent value for money.   As a foreigner, I am always a little cautious dealing with companies over the internet, but your genuine personalised service and honesty was very refreshing.

I will definitely use and only use your company again on our return next year.   I have 2 groups of friends (one departing in 7 weeks) and another in December who were so impressed with my reports on your service they also will be making contact with you.

Again sorry for the delay, and I hope you will pass on my sincere thanks to all involved.    Should you require to use this letter as a recommendation to your overseas clients, feel free to do so.

I visited Vietnam recently with my cousin, Richard Kelly, and we were fortunate enough that you and your agency arranged our trip.  Everything about our trip was perfect.  Son in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh in HoiAn, Cuong and Phuc in Hanoi, and Khan in Luang Prabang were excellent hosts and guides and teachers.  Each of them was different and each taught us so much.  They were very patient in answering our questions and very careful to make sure we understood.

I did not know what to expect when I arrived and I could not have had a more wonderful time.  I am in awe of the beauty of your nation and the beauty of its people.  Many friends have asked me what the most significant sight I saw or which city I liked the best and my answer is the people of Vietnam were the most significant experience of my trip.  The people were gracious and friendly and helpful without exception.  I know Vietnam is on the verge of great things and a large part of that future is due to the character of its people.

You and your staff did an excellent job in arranging our accommodations, our meals and our sights.  It just could not have been a more pleasant experience.  I hope you will convey to our guides mentioned above just how much we enjoyed and appreciated the help they gave us.  Each provided a different perspective on our journey and we learned so much from them.  Khan was especially helpful to me on my solo journey to Luang Prabang which was a delightful experience.

You can be sure that we will recommend your agency to any friends who might be traveling your way.

But I just want to make sure you know how grateful I am to you and your company and your staff for the wonderful experience they provided us.

Hi Tuan,

Many thanks to your company providing us with such a good holiday.

Our guides (Phoc - North, Thien - Central and Dung - South) and drivers were excellent. We were always met on time, arrived at locations often ahead of the busy times, with such hot weather the cars were well cooled and carefully driven. Each guide had extensive historical and cultural knowledge and they were always looking for ways to help.

The 3 start hotels we used were of a very good standard. In our opinion the Heritage in Hue could be at least 4 star! We were also very satisfied with all the meals which were always beautifully and so quickly presented by attentive restaurant staff

One thing may be worth mentioning. We needed passport style photos for the Visas we picked up on arrival at Ho Chi Minh Airport - It may be worth reminding visitors of this.

We will be very happy to recommend your services to others and hope to come back one day - perhaps at a cooler time of year.

If possible please pass on our thanks to those people who made our visit so memorable.

Yes, we made it home safely. We had a great time in Vietnam and we were very satisfied with all of your services. The guides were excellent and accommodations were great. We got what we asked for: a lot of culture, some adventure, some time with a guide and some time alone.

Here are some photos. The first shows us on a bicycle trip, from the left, Hieu, our Saigon guide, Chi, the local Mekong Delta guide, me and David, my husband. The middle picture is us with our daughter in Hanoi. And the last is us with our guide, Chi, in Hue.

We have been very busy since we arrived home from what was one of the most memorable and remarkable tours of our life.
 
I don't know if Bob passed to you the article I wrote on our return home.  I have edited the original slightly, and have been promised that I will have my article published on our Vietnam Veterans' Association web site for not only members to read, but anyone else interested in Vietnam, or indeed in Veterans' pastime pursuits.
 
 Again, thank you, and Bob, for creating such a wonderful itinerary for tourists and returning Veterans to see your country in such a magnificent way.
 
Also, we want to record our thanks to Huong who is a most excellent and skilled guide with an impeccable command of the English language.
 
We really had a great time, and we thank Huong for meeting our friend's dietary requirements which we acknowledge she did not declare prior to her arrival, more is the pity.  Huong  did extremely well to meet her needs as we went along.
 
Again, many thanks for your assistance.  It was wonderful to meet with you, and Annette and I certainly hope that we will meet you again, either in your country or ours, in the future.

Please be assured that the trip you organised for me was superb in all aspects.
From my initial contact with you to reluctantly leaving Vietnam I had a truly wonderful time.
My sincere thanks for organising the visa and providing the excellent guide Lu'u for the Dien Bien Phu part of the trip.  A special word of praise for the driver, I am afraid I didn't catch his name but he was an extremely skillful and competent operator who never seemed to be put off by the road and weather conditions and always seemed to be smiling.  I regretted that I could not speak Vietnamese to express my admiration for his stamina and endurance.
The hotel in Hanoi, the Galaxy was excellent and I was particularly pleased with the packed breakfast they supplied on the day I left at 6am.  The service in the hotel was very good plus the friendliness and co-operation of the staff made it an enjoyable stay.
The flights you booked for me were also very good but the accommodation you arranged in Ho Chi Minh whilst satisfactory was not up to the standard of the Galaxy.
To sum up - I had a trip of a lifetime.

Our one day trip to Halong Bay was superb. Far better than we expected. Our Guide, driver and all of the people on the boat were very friendly. Can not recommend this enough. Halong Bay is well worth a visit.

Dear Tuan,

I had been meaning to write since you led our trip in Vietnam but human nature being what it is, it failed - both myself and Julie absolutely enjoyed your country and will be back for sure.

Your country has amazing history and I admire your people  and their capacity to work - I have no doubt that with the ethics your people have, that the country will grow.

What also brought about thoughts of our trip was that a girlfriend of one of my work colleges in going on a trip -  leaving Hanoi with the group on 1st December. Her name is Eliza Garnsey and I hope she is with a group you are leading -  your knowledge and insight into the people and culture made it all the more interesting and I'm sure you will look after her.
We can still re-call being in the cave with the General and the stirring manner in which he still sang the inspirational songs of the war.
